Sponsored Affiliate Partnerships

In 2019, I was placed at the creative helm of the Daily Beast’s sponsored affiliate business. For a flat fee, brands could ensure coverage of their product on Scouted, the Daily Beast’s product recommendation vertical. These posts earned additional commission based on sales, with ROAS a consistent key metric. I wrote or assigned to a copywriter, edited, and analyzed performance to inform best practices to ensure conversion among our audiences. In a few short months, this revenue stream grew 65%.

Brands tapped into a variety of products including long-form articles, listicles, short-form Cheats, and email integrations. I worked with sales partners and editorial leads to develop new products for our affiliate clients.
