Requiring true interdepartmental collaboration, Refinery29’s Gift Curator required balancing the input and interests of our sales team (speaking on behalf of our brand clients), editorial team (representing Refinery29’s voice and aesthetic), and product team (focused on user experience and execution). I acted as liaison, developing compromises that balanced the feedback from everyone with skin in the holiday gifting game.
This gifting product exceed benchmarks for branded and editorial content for CTR, completion rate, and time on article.
The experience included 100+ editorial products and dozens of sponsored products, and it was the tentpole experience within Refinery29’s high-traffic holiday months.
